Tucker Mobile Homes
Nearly 1 million children in Georgia schools are eligible to receive free or reduced-price breakfast & lunch, a crucial meal that disappears in the summer and school breaks. Smart Lunch, Smart Kid, through the dedication of thousands of volunteers and donors, ensures that these children are fed. We will be preparing lunches for the children in the community April 1-5. Unlike other feeding programs, we take the food to the children in their neighborhoods, removing the barrier of lack of transportation.
We need individuals to purchase materials, prepare and deliver the lunches to the community. We need 2 adult volunteers on site each day to serve the lunches. We need 35 lunches each day. We serve the lunches near the office space, contact is Mariam.
Suggestd shopping list for 100 lunches (just a guideline) - if necessary, adapt materials to the number of lunches needed for the community.

- (100) slices of cheese

Some groups also include a "sweet treat" such as a fruit snack, a piece of candy, or Rice Krispie treats, etc., though it is not necessary!
If you are 18 years of age or older and will be interacting with the children in the community, you must complete a background check at the link below.
