Missoula Family Promise Network

Family Promise Volunteer Opportunities

Family Promise of Missoula, a program of Missoula Interfaith Collaborative, collaborates with the YWCA to help run the Family Housing Center at the Meadowlark.  The Family Housing Center provides support and housing for families experiencing homelessness.

Family Promise offers many volunteer opportunities.  Congregations and other organizations in Missoula usually take a week 4 times a year to assist with providing salads and desserts, gas and gift cards, serving dinner, working as an evening host, and doing laundry.

At times, assistance is needed to support congregations/organizations during their rotation or to assist in other ways.   If you are interested in being "on call" to assist when the need arises, please sign up below. You would receive an email asking if you are available to assist.   We appreciate the fact that we can work together as a network to support these families.

More detailed job descriptions for some tasks are attached.
