BSA Troop 125

St. Paul's Soup Kitchen Dinner Service Opportunity - Wed, 3/27

Our very own ASM Emeritus, Mike Kiekbusch, has rescheduled this opportunity for T125 to serve the community from when it was cancelled due to bitter cold back in late January.  On Wednesday, 3/27 at 5:30pm, we will prepare a simple, healthy meal and then serve at 6:30.  We'll then cleanup the kitchen area and be done by 8:30pm.  Mike is a retired professional firefighter/paramedic and really knows how to cook for a big group.  The right size of this effort is about 3 adults and 6 scouts (since the kitchen area and tasks are limited).  All we need to do is show up in our class B uniforms and Mike will put us to work preparing/serving/cleaning.  It's actually quite fun and rewarding to serve the appreciative families that attend the dinner and bible study that the Pastor conducts following the meal.  As a bonus, in the process of all of this activity, you'll have dinner too!

St. Paul's Community Lutheran Church is located at: 1133 Joslyn Ave, Pontiac, MI.  The kitchen area and fellowship hall is located in the basement of the church.
