St.Bartholomew Soup Kitchen Ministry
St. Mary's Dinner Program was established in 1996 to meet the growing needs of the homeless and less fortunate in the Plainfield area. The program provides a nutritious, well-balanced meal for up to 130 guests between 3 and 4 pm every Sunday of the year. The program is made possible through generous food and monetary donations made by caring members of the community. It operates at the hands of dedicated volunteers from local congregations. Young people ages 12 and over seeking community service hours are welcome to volunteer accompanied by an adult.
St. Bartholomew sponsors the 4th Sunday of each month.
