Kalamazoo in Bloom

End of Season Plant Pull 2021

It's time for the flower beds, containers, and topiaries to get pulled in Portage (October 2) and downtown Kalamazoo (October 4 & 5). There is a lot of work to do but a reward for helping us is that you'll have an opportunity to take plants home. Items to bring, if you have them, are a big shovel, pruning saw, gloves, water bottle, and bags/buckets/containers to take plants with you.

New this year is a Pull Leader volunteer position on October 4. Since CJ can't be at every bed instructing us what to pull/not pull, we need current/former Master Gardeners to help with this, particularly those who are no longer able to participate in the physical nature of this work.

Start time each day is 9:00 am and we will end around Noon so come join us when you can. Thanks, in advance, for your help!
