EI Driving Volunteers

EI Volunteers for Kitchen Sink Driving Event

Event will be at Donida Farm Equestrian Center in Auburn, WA!

This event has it all - a driving derby on Friday, a dressage festival and obstacle pleasure classes on Saturday, and a driving trial on Sunday. We need lots of volunteers.   Please look over the list and sign up for your favorite volunteer job. We'll treat you right with plenty of beverages and food plus a volunteer t-shirt.

On Friday at 3PM there will be a harness and carriage fitting clinic by Stacey Giere and Sterling Graburn.  Volunteers for the event are welcome to attend this clinic for free!

If you have any questions, please contact Merridy Hance at (360)621-9933. We will try our best to honor your sign up request but we do reserve the right to move volunteers around to different assignments if needed to keep the event running smoothly.

We need 4 people to help out during the driving derby. We need a timer, a ring steward, and a couple of people to be available in case something on the course needs to be put back in place.

Manage and help cone setters to adjust and maintain cones course for each competitor. Since this role is critical to keeping the Driving Trial on schedule, we prefer a volunteer who has done this job before.

Driving Trial Marathon- Obstacle Judge/Timer (8)

Observe each competitor in the obstacle recording their route and any violations. Also, using a provided stopwatch, time each competitor while they are in the obstacle. No experience necessary, we'll train you!

Driving Trial Marathon- Score Runner

Collect score sheets from obstacle judges and transport them to the score keeper. Must know how to get around a marathon course safely without interfering with the competition. To drive a golf cart, must have a valid driver's license.
