As a staff, we have worked with Goodwill to create the most effective and safe pantry model possible. As always we will require masks and will have them available if you need them. We will also be enforcing social distancing and santitation practices. Below are the volunteer job descriptions. You may request a specific area upon your arrival. Please wear comfortable clothing with close toed shoes. Dress appropriate for the weather on your volunteer shift. Volunteers must be 16 years or older. If under 18, please email [email protected] for required paperwork.
Client must have appointment ticket
Client must present photo ID, if it is their first time to the pantry we can see them once without it
Verify client’s information in Pantry Trak
Will be using lap tops and full Pantry Trak site
Will assist with safety and flow of clients in intake/waiting room
Help with menus
Hourly sanitize chairs pens and waiting room
Maintain/keep waiting room clean and sanitized
Load clients’ carts based on menu preferences and family size by color coding
If a runner is unavailable, take clients with groceries to their car/bus stop
When time permits, restock pantry
Collect menu from intake and deliver to Pantry Packer
Take finished carts from Packer to Clients and escort client to their car or bus stop
Wipe down carts regularly to sanitize
Maintain product quantities in pantry (includes stocking all perishable products in use any given day)
