On Wednesday, December 4 we are asked to provide chaperones, food distribution volunteers, and water for the Holiday Concert rehearsal after school.
Food Setup and Distribution: Please enter through the front office, get carts, and load food/water onto carts and take down to PAC for setup.
Water Donations: We need 900 bottles of water! Please deliver to the ZCHS front office on Monday 12/2 or Tuesday 12/3 before 2pm or no later than noon on Wednesday 12/4.
Chaperones: Please arrive no later than 3:45pm or 5:45pm (depending on your shift) and go directly to your station. There are 588 students in the music department and many kids are off-stage during rehearsals. We have an adult stationed in key areas to ensure kids remain in the designated areas, that they are not too rowdy and that food and trash are picked up. Everyone needs to keep quiet backstage. Dining / eating should be limited to the “food court” cafeteria and PAC lobby. NO EATING OUTSIDE THESE AREAS.
Students will be given instructions, but please help the directors enforce the following:
Old Auditorium: Students should not eat in the old auditorium. Keep food out and students off the stage and away from equipment at all times.
Stage Door Areas: Help students be ready to load the stage and keep the hallway near the PAC open.
General: Remind students (frequently) to keep instruments in their cases.
