HUGS Trunk-or-Treat 2019

HUGS 3rd Annual Trunk-or-Treat is from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, October 20th in the Woodland Hills High School FRONT MAIN parking lot! Please enter from the Greensburg Pike entrance. All other entrances to the school will be closed. This event is RAIN OR SHINE. We do not have a raindate.

The Trunk-or-Treating guidelines include:

On October 20th, pull your vehicle into a WHSD parking space located at 2550 Greensburg Pike (front lot).  The parking lot will open at 12:30 pm for Trunk-or-Treat cars only.  Candy stations must be ready for Trunk-or-Treaters by 2:00 pm. Do not begin passing out candy before 2pm!

  1. Decorate your trunk.  Unique, fun, and family-oriented designs are encouraged.  Creativity is good, but so is a simple Halloween tablecloth! Gore, weapons, horror, and showing disrespect to other groups is not permitted.  Wear a costume (if you want)!  Set up folding chairs next to your trunk.
  2. Have your treats ready.  Children in 6th grade and below are invited to participate.  Please provide enough candy for 900 childrenThe H.U.G.S. Volunteer program will provide additional candy for your station if/when you run out. Please only give ONE piece of candy per child. Peanut-free trunks will be marked (please consider hosting a peanut-free trunk)! Homemade treats ARE NOT permitted. .

Smoking on school grounds is NOT permitted under any circumstances. If for some reason you can no longer host your trunk please let us know immediately so that your spot can be made available to someone else. Note that upon signing up for this event you are committing to staying the entire time. Vehicles will not be released from the parking lot until the conclusion of the event (4pm) for safety purposes.
