Greenlawn Civic Association

GCA Earth Day Clean Up

The Greenlawn Civic Association will host its annual Greenlawn Earth Day Clean-Up on Sunday, April 25.

It will be smaller and spread out over the day instead of just three hours as in previous years. The clean-up will happen along Broadway from the Harborfields Public Library down to the corner of Broadway and Cuba Hill Road and includes trash & recycling pick up, sweeping sidewalks, cleaning & mulching flower beds, and painting benches.

Masks are required for all participants. We'll supply the garbage bags and mulch. Please bring your own tools, gloves, brooms, etc. and water to drink. Long sleeves and pants are best for this work.

This is a great opportunity for other community groups, school clubs, athletic teams, teens needing community service hours, Cub Scouts, Scout & Girl Scout troops (kids under 14 need adult supervision), families, church/mosque/temple groups, and friends. We will give out community service certificates for anyone who needs one.

We will be in touch with timing details and a designated work area around April 22.

Let us know of any questions and we look forward to cleaning up our community with our friends and neighbors!

Date: 04/25/2021 (Sun.)

Time: 10:00am - 4:00pm EDT

Location: Along Broadway in Greenlawn
