Congregation Shaarey Tefilla invites the interfaith community to explore the origins of the Passover Seder ritual and to share a traditional meal together. Rabbi Benjamin Sendrow will lead the service and explain the rituals. There will be ample opportunity for discussion and questions during the Seder. School-aged children are welcome to attend with an adult family member, teacher or youth leader. $18 per adult / $12 per child 12 and under.
Seder menu: Matzo ball soup, gefilte fish & horseradish, chicken, vegetables, dessert and numerous ceremonial foods. Vegetarian & gluten free menu upon request- please note when registering.
Reservations limited to 140 and need to be made & paid for through signupgenius.com. So that you are not disappointed, we strongly suggest early registration as we expect our capacity to be reached well before the March 21 deadline.
Plan to arrive by 6:15 pm to allow for check-in and seating. Seating will be open with no assigned or reserved seating; sitting with those you do not know enhances the experience and provides for lively, interesting conversation.
Note that Congregation Shaarey Tefilla is totally handicap accessible.
