Volunteers Needed!

13th ANNUAL LA MESA PARK APPRECIATION DAY

Every year the city invites the public to participate in park beautification projects throughout the 14 parks in the city.

Volunteers will plant, pull weeds, spread mulch, clear trash, paint benches and tables. Participants are encouraged to bring their own gloves and tools such as shovels, rakes, trowels and lopping shears.

All are welcome - young and old - join by yourself, bring your family, ask friends and co-workers from your office, church, school, clubs and athletics teams.

Waiver:

By signing up participant agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless City and any of its elected and appointed officials, employees, contractors or agents from any and all damages or liability including personal injury or death arising from participants activities pursuant to the Agreement and be liable for any related costs of defending any legal proceedings or claims arising therefrom, except for liability or damages resulting from gross negligence, recklessness, or intentionally wrongful conduct of City.
