Fees: Entry is $25.00 for non TBG members. With your entry fee you become a TBG member and will go on our mailing list to receive the TBG newsletter and access to our extensive library of books and videos. Memberships are family based so this includes your minor children and spouse.
Pre Registered guests will get be given a meal ticket at check in.

Friday, September 28th
5:00 PM Campers can start arriving and set-up. There will be a campfire or two to sit around and mingle. Feel free to bring your forge set up and we have covered shelters to work under. Tent camping is free, site power and water hook ups are $25.00/day.
Saturday, September 29th
9:00 AM Guest Demonstrator Peter Ross
Peter will be demonstrating various aspects of Blacksmithing including several projects throughout the day focusing of course on traditional blacksmithing.
1:00 PM BBQ Lunch will be provided with paid entry. Pulled pork BBQ with coleslaw, baked beans, iced tea and water.
3:00 PM Iron in the Hat tickets will be drawn and taped to items for pickup
6:30 PM Crock Pot/Dutch Oven Cook off—Judging at 6:30 PM. There will be a crock pot meal contest. Two categories, dessert and main course. The sky is the limit, chili, Brunswick stew, peach cobbler, apple dump, you name it.
Sunday, September 30th
No scheduled events….Campers can have a relaxing morning, say farewells and breakdown their campsites.
Camping: Tent camping is free, site power and water hook ups are $25.00/day. Limited shower and bath room on site.
Tailgating: Free with paid entry fee/membership.
Gallery: Please bring an example of your or someone else's work. It can be your latest project still in the works or a piece you have that you are most proud of.
About Peter Ross
Peter is a very accomplished blacksmith. He was Colonial Williamsburg's Blacksmith for twenty-five years. He has been a regular on PBS television The Woodwright's Shop as well as published in magazines and other publications. He is most well known for his historical accurate reproductions of kitchen hardware, tools and locks.
