Indigenous people are remarkably resourceful, but many must leave their communities of origin. What’s next for the languages and cultures of communities affected by migration? Linguist and educator Sue Kalt will offer an evening of slides, music and discussion of her work in the rural Andes to create a time capsule of the Quechua languages and cultures as spoken and practiced today. With live music and poetry by our Quechua/kichwa speaking neighbors in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
