New Interest Sign-up

Thank you for your interest in the HEART Ministry. We hope to make it easy for you to get engaged with HEART.

NOTE THE VARIOUS SERVING OPPORTUNITY TABS AT THE TOP OF THE WEB PAGE. 

Below are the different areas of HEART that are in need of volunteers. Some of these areas have actual dates/times you can sign up for (on the tabs above). If you can find a slot to sign up for, you do not have to sign up for that area here as well, unless you'd like to be contacted for another reason.

Sign up for as many areas as you are interested in. One of our Team Leaders will follow up with you to give more details and to answer any questions you might have. You will also be added to the email group for that specific area to be notified of future serving opportunities. All of these areas take volunteers of all skill levels and have varying levels of flexibility.

Admin Team

Support team leaders through creating and maintaining Sign-Up Genius lists. Communicate ongoing needs and important dates. Ensure marketing team is informed of event dates and needs. Follow-up on tasks and assignments. Flexible, work remotely or on-site.

Help us maintain accurate data, monitor social media, write stories, onboard non-profits, etc.

Construction Team

All skill levels welcome! Assist with local projects that vary from tiling, sheet rocking, cabinetry, flooring installation, to yard work, demolition, painting and general cleanup.

Assist individuals and/or nonprofits as they check out with merchandise at the warehouse or Heartland Outlet.

Donations Team

Seeking able bodies to pick up a variety of donations from local businesses to drop off at the Shakopee warehouse. Some lifting is required (25-50 lbs). You may occasionally be asked to work on short notice.

Finance Team

Assist with light bookkeeping, pricing for items distributed to other nonprofits for Community Redistribution Program and/or the Heartland Outlet.

Fountains Ministry Team

Seeking people with the spiritual gifts of compassion, mercy, encouragement, faith, knowledge, and/or service to be an extension of The Fountain’s house chaplain. Training required for this opportunity .

Impact Trips

Help rebuild lives and homes damaged by natural disasters. All skill levels welcome! There will be many opportunities to pray for and support those impacted. We are encouraging anyone with a heart to serve to sign up for information.

Corporate Partnerships & Donations

Looking for people to develop and maintain corporate partnership & donation relationships. Construction and building supplies, Construction and building supplies, and Fresh produce, meat, bread, and foods for our Prayer & Produce ministry.

Are you looking to take prayer outside the Church? We love to pray and minister to people, and if you do too, HEART prayer may be for you. Training is required.

Mobile Home Park Ministry

HEART's Prayer & Produce Team, which is a ministry to the residents of local mobile home park communities.

Special Events & Outreach Team

HEART serves meals to the unchurched, the homeless, and provides meals to local partners to say “Thank you!” Sometimes there are opportunities to help with games or other activities as well. Sign up to receive emails with event dates, times, & sign-ups.

Warehouse Community Giveaway Night (Shakopee Campus)

A section of the warehouse is opened for members of the community who are in need. Help set up items for the giveaway, assist people with shopping, and clean up. We do this the 3rd Tuesday of the month 4:00 – 7:30 pm
