Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC in our administrative offices. We rely heavily on the support of volunteers in all aspects of our organization and office support is no exception.
Our administrative volunteers are unique both in skillset and that we interview them prior to placement. This is because our administrative support needs vary so greatly in scope that we want to make sure you have the best possible service experience.
We need assistance with answering phones, filing, data entry and even at times supporting our efforts in the field, just to name a few opportunities. By meeting with you prior to assigning your service area, we can create opportunities that will not only help you find fulfillment but also allow you to use your greatest strengths.
This sign-up page shows times that our team is available to meet to discuss your interests and abilities. Once we have an idea of where and how you would like to serve we will work with you to plan a support schedule that works with your availability.
