Eco-Cycle is excited to team up with Left Hand Brewing once again to go for Zero Waste at this year's Longmont Oktoberfest! The beer festival will be held at Roosevelt Park in Longmont, and will go from 4 - 10 p.m. on Friday, September 20th and 12 - 10 p.m. on Saturday, September 21st.
For the 8th year in a row, Longmont Oktoberfest is Longmont's favorite fall gathering featuring national touring acts to be announced this summer, as well as the area's best acoustic, folk, and bluegrass bands, 10+ breweries, local food, and games for all ages. Ranked as a "Must Visit Oktoberfest" by DRAFT magazine, Longmont Oktoberfest celebrates the summer's transition to fall on September 20th & 21st at Roosevelt Park. Pull out your lederhosen and dirndls, grab a pretzel or brat, and don’t forget a pint from your favorite Longmont breweries while we support Longmont charities. Prost!
We'll be working hard to divert more than 90% of the event's waste from the landfill, and our success hinges on volunteers like YOU to help out!
Volunteering at one of Eco-Cycle's events is fun and easy. You'll be one of our Zero Waste Station "Goalies," making sure that event-goers put all their waste in the right place. We ask volunteers to commit to at least one shift. Multiple shifts are always optional and volunteers working at least 4 hours will be provided with complimentary food and beverage (beer or nonalcoholic) vouchers.
To volunteer for Zero Waste at Longmont Oktoberfest, please sign up for your desired volunteer dates and shifts below and feel free to contact Melissa [email protected] with any questions.
