Volunteers Louisville

Volunteer for Zero Waste at Louisville Labor Day!

Eco-Cycle is excited to team up with the City of Louisville to go for Zero Waste at their 2018 Labor Day Parade & Fall Festival. The event is on Monday, September 2nd from 9am until 3pm. This fun day features a Parade, live music, inflatables & kids entertainment, multiple craft and food booths, as well as a homemade pie contest and free swimming at Memory Square Pool all day long! Come out to volunteer for a couple hours and enjoy the rest of the event freely.

Our Zero Waste success hinges on volunteers like YOU to help out!

Volunteering at a Zero Waste Event is fun and easy. You'll work as a Zero Waste Station "Goalie," making sure event-goers put their waste in the right place. You'll also help out with setting up or breaking down zero waste stations. This is a great opportunity to educate the public about Zero Waste, while attending a fun event! Volunteers will be asked to commit to at least one shift. Longer shifts are always optional!

There are three shifts available: 9am-11 am, 11 am-1pm, 1pm-3pm.

To volunteer to work Zero Waste for this event, please sign up below and feel free to contact Melissa [email protected] with any questions.
