The Boulder Jewish Festival is going for Zero Waste once again! Featuring a Family Fun Run, various concerts and artistic performances, and multiple Jewish-related booths, a great dose of fun & culture is guaranteed from 10am to 5pm.
We will be working hard to improve last year's diversion rate of 80% and divert even more of the event's waste from the landfill! We need volunteers like YOU to help out!
Volunteering at a Zero Waste Event is fun and easy. You'll work as a Zero Waste Station "Goalie", making sure event-goers put their waste in the right place. You'll also help out with setting up or breaking down zero waste stations. This is a great opportunity to educate the public about Zero Waste, while attending a fun event!
There are three shifts available of two and a half hours each: 10:30am-1pm, 1pm-3:30pm, 3:30pm-5pm. Volunteering will get you a free draft beer/house cocktail/soft drink at the Festival's Happy Hour starting at 4pm and a free class from Boulder’s newest yoga studio, Bulldog Yoga!
