We are going to do another controlled melt next Tuesday night and Wednesday.
I’ll go in Tuesday night at the end of the Tuesday Night league to turn off the chiller, turn up the heaters, get the league to put the rocks up on the walkway and put the copper pipes in the hack holes. It will then take about 7 hours to melt.
On Wednesday morning, Brent Carson has agreed to come in on his way to work at about 6:30 to turn the chiller back on. I can remotely turn the heaters back down.
It should take 4 to 5 hours for the ice to refreeze and we will be ready to do the pebble, scrape, pebble, scrape routine starting at about 1. It should take 5 or 6 hours to get the ice back into playable shape.
Curt Novotny and I need some people to help with the pebble/scrape routine.
