Move In: Cardboard Recycling
KSU's Office of Campus Planning and Sustainability is looking for volunteers to help with recycling efforts during move-in. Volunteers will help to break down cardboard, divert recyclable materials into the proper bins, and ensure no trash contaminates the recyclables. During 2016 move-in, KSU recycled over 4,500 pounds of cardboard: with your help we can achieve even more! If you would like to help, please sign-up by August 3rd at 5pm.
Fall move-in will take place on the Kennesaw campus on Friday, August 10th and on Saturday, August 11th. Fall move-in will take place on the Marietta campus on Saturday, August 11th only.

By volunteering to participate in this activity, I fully recognize that there are dangers and risks to which I may be exposed by participating in the activity during the following dates: August 10-11, 2018. The following is a description and examples of specific, significant, and non-obvious dangers and risks associated with this activity: lifting, handling items, using a cardboard cutter, generally assisting students move their personal items. I voluntarily assume full responsibility of any risks of loss, property damage, or personal injury. Risks include, but are not limited to: emotional distress, strains, sprains, cuts, bruises, broken bones, and other injuries up to and including death. I know of no medical reason why I should not participate in the activity.
