If you signed up for a shift, or plan to, or don't want to pack meals, and just wanted to hang around and join in our celebration, go to the end of this signup and let me know if you want to be a Table Leader (GSL).
Table Leaders get a free t-tshirt, get trained on packing meals, and most important, they act as cheerleaders for their table providing encouragement to their team to keep the momentum going towards 100,000 meals.
We need approximately 14 oer shift. They'll go fast, so don't wait...join in this day long event.
This Haiti Food Packing event is open to all families, students, and adults. Children 10 years and under need to be accompanied by a parent to participate- a nursery will be available for children 5 and under.
Food Aid is partnering with Mission of Hope Haiti to help manage food packing station setup, participant training- along with transportation and distribution of finished meals to the MOH warehouse.
Mission of Hope's nutrition program started as a result of their education initiative. They quickly realized their children were not properly nourished resulting in problems with concentration and learning in school. More than 92,000 meals are distributed daily- a sizable number of meals, but still short of the amount needed.
