Open House Volunteers 2019
Calling all Stuy parents! Help us greet prospective students and their families on
Tuesday, October 15th
Wednesday, October 16th
Volunteers will greet and welcome visitors. They will also be assigned to individual floors where demos and tours are to take place, and to offer their valuable advice and expertise on 'all things Stuy-related"-- from being a parent to how to navigate the High School experience at Stuyvesant.
Thousands from all five boroughs of New York City will cross the TriBeCa bridge over two days to visit, and we need YOUR help! It's a chance for us to do a little outreach and promote our school.
We need parents that speak foreign languages! Cantonese, Mandarin, Bengali, Russian, Korean will be in high demand.
Volunteers should arrive at 4:30pm and meet in the Principal's Conference Room (107) to get their name badge and instructions (slots are marked 4:30pm for this purpose). Email the Director of Family Engagement, Dina Ingram, at [email protected] with questions and/or concerns.
If you have a specific subject, club or sport you are a Stuy expert on, let us know! We will assign you accordingly!
We will also need some willing volunteers for short shifts running the freight elevator Please let us know if you're willing in the comment field.
Can't help the entire time? It's OK! Please indicate your hours in your comments.
Thank you for your time, dedication and willingness to help! Your support is always greatly appreciated.
