Birthday Signs (12)

Help distribute and set up lawn signs for a child on their birthday. Volunteers will be divided into and responsible for their region/zone.

Book Fair (6)

Set up and help staff 1 school wide book fair 12/8 & 12/9

County Fair (8)

Plan and coordinate games, food and activities as an end of the year celebration. Secure volunteers to help set up, manage and clean up various stations. 5/24 rain date 5/25

Cultural Art Adventure (2)

Coordinate and plan an entire cultural event which includes a classroom lesson, performance and/or speaker and activities.

Cultural Fair (4)

Coordinate participants and help plan an evening celebrating diversity in our GB community. The evening is an opportunity for families to share and learn about various heritages, traditions and cultures. Scheduled for 11/3 6-730PM

DQ/ Bundt Cakes (6)

Coordinate and / or serve blizzard treats from Dairy Queen or Nothing Bundt Cakes

Family Service Night (6)

Plan and coordinate an evening centered around community service. Scheduled for 2/28 6-7 PM.

Gift Card Plus (3)

2 times a year Collect orders for gift cards, organize and then deliver them to participants

Greyhound Gathering (10)

9/21 Plan and coordinate games, food and activities for this Fall celebration. Secure volunteers to help set up, manage and clean up various stations

Helping Hands (4)

Coordinate various community service activities and projects for students to participate in and give back

HOH (4)

Work with other D28 representatives in the planning and preparation of the HOH 5K.

Hospitality/ Snacks and Beverages (10)

Works with the Luncheon committee to provide snacks, treats and beverages for BTS and P/T Conferences

Photo Historian 1st-5th Grade Reps (5)

YEAR ROUND- Collect photos from your grade and ensure photos are uploaded to the database. Photos collected will be used for the 5th grade yearbook. Rolling commitment- follow your grade level through 5th grade.

Pizza Day (6)

serve pizza 2 times a month during lunchtime at school.

School Planters (3)

Plant flowers and greenery to fill the school planters in the front and back of the building. Commitment is 3 times a year, fall, winter, and spring.

School Supplies (4)

Help organize and distribute school supplies prior to school starting.

Science Night (4)

Coordinate participants for this popular evening featuring projects and ideas based in STEM.Event scheduled for 3/15 6-7 PM.

Spirit Wear (2)

Work with vendor to select spirit wear offerings. Collect, submit and distribute orders to students and staff

Staff Appreciation Luncheon (6)

Host a luncheon for teachers and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week. 5/2

Plan, coordinate and execute week-long events and activities for teachers and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week in May

Coordinate and organize teacher experiences for students to bid on during the Greyhound Gathering event
