With the current state of FSL in the country, Greeking Responsibly is a proactive and preventative educational workshop for students that educates them on how to handle and deal with incidents involving alcohol, hazing, and drug use.
Created in fall 2016, the Greeking Responsibly workshop is a 1.5 hour long workshop designed to:
- Help students gain a sense of shared responsibility between university officials and members of the FSL community
- Increase pro-social and help-seeking behaviors in the FSL community
- Communicate university expectations in relation to alcohol, hazing, and drug-use
- To identify potential and perceived risk of activities involving alcohol, hazing, and drug-use
Completion of this workshop is required by all individuals interested in participating in Fraternity and Sorority Life at Florida Gulf Coast University and prior to starting any new member education/intake process.
Workshops with the location "TBD" may be canceled if a room on campus does not become available. Please continue to check this sign-up and your email for updates.
