Poetry Presentations

In the next few weeks, we will read, study, and write a variety of poems.  This week, visit the the “Poetry” links on the Kids’ Zone page of www.hovatterclassroom.com.  Read the entire electronic packet of Core Knowledge poems and sign up for one of your favorites here.

Next, memorize 1 page of your poem and practice presenting it aloud. Your presentation should begin with an introduction that includes your name, the name of the poem, and the name of the poet.  Be prepared to dramatically recite your poem to the class the week of December 13th.
