2019 SW Fall Cleanup

EVENT DATE:  Saturday, November 2nd, 2019
Cleanup from 9am - 1pm.
Volunteer shifts generally begin at 8:30am.

Help us ensure that dumpsters are loaded efficiently & that only accepted items are dropped off. Bonus points if you can assist customers w/awkward debris and loading. 13 and older please.

Senior Pickup Driver Dispatcher

Make sure drivers pick up debris from all households signed up for home debris pickup. This service is only available to seniors and disabled residents. Organizational skills a must!

Waste Pickup from Seniors' Homes (14)

Use your truck to pickup bulky waste from seniors and disabled residents' homes. Drop off material at the Cleanup. Volunteers will get assignments the night before so you can start from home, reducing early traffic at Cleanup site.

Light Bulbs Station Workers (2)

Load the light bulb truck. You'll be accepting only CFL bulbs (compact fluorescent). Please bring a pair of gloves or let us know if you need a pair.

Battery Sorting Table (5)

Join the battery team at a table sorting alkaline from Lithium batteries. Bring your own gloves or we will provide some. In general, this is fine work and doesn't require much strength.

Hi. I have limited mobility and standing is painful. From utilizing previous clean up's this is one thing I know I can do sitting down. If not, let me know. Also, if I have a suv with things to drop off, is there a time for me to do that?
