Archway Trivium West
New this year! All Archway Trivium West (ATW) parents who volunteer should plan to attend the mandatory volunteer training led by Archway Trivium West staff.
There will be 8 sessions offered throughout the school year (4 in the fall semester, 4 in the spring). Volunteers are required to attend one session, one time ONLY (this is NOT an annual requirement). Volunteers will need to complete this training at some point during the 2017-18 school year. Beginning in the 2018-19 school year, volunteers will be required to have completed the training (along with having a current fingerprint clearance) before serving on campus/with students.
During our volunteer training, an ATW staff member will review expectations for our volunteers, including confidentiality and culture-alignment, as well as how volunteers can best support the classroom teacher. We will also review the volunteer agreement and participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about different ways to volunteer at Archway Trivium West. A representative from the PSO (Parent Service Organization) may also be present to greet parents and share ways to get involved in the PSO.
