Dear Immaculate Heart of Mary Parishioners,
As we have opened up for public Mass in a very limited way, we know that many of our parishioners will still not be able to join us in that way. Because of this, we would like to offer the opportunity for them to worship and receive our Eucharistic Lord in short (8 minute) communion services. There is always still a risk, but gathering in this way, should pose a much lesser risk. The least amount of risk remains watching our Masses on-line. If anyone would prefer an individual appointment to receive communion or would like a family member to bring them communion, please contact the parish office.
We will be meeting in Fireside Hall where our temporary chapel is set up. Please enter through the main doors to the office which will all be open. Instead of seats, we will have places marked on the ground to stand. If you need a seat, please note this in the comment section of the sign up. The services will begin every 10 minutes starting at 12:30 pm on Sunday.
You may sign up by using our "sign up genius" or by calling the parish office (952) 935-1432. When you sign up, please fill in the individual slots with the names of each person who will be attending. We will only have room for nine people besides myself at each time. Also, please try to fill up the earlier spots first.
Please note the following safety precautions: Please wear a mask and sanitize your hands at the door to the chapel when you come. The restrooms will not be available. If you arrive and a service is taking place, please stand on one of the x's in the hallway until all of the previous congregants have left. When the time comes to receive communion, I will give instructions on how to receive communion. Please remain about six feet apart. I will sanitize my hands in between communicants if I happen to touch anyone. You may exit through the opposite end of the Fireside Room.
Please note, personal time for prayer will not be available in the chapel between 12:30 and 1:30 on Sunday.
Looking forward to seeing many of you this weekend.
Peace and every good,
