Marion Co. Master Gardeners - Public events
Presenters: Susan Nelson, Fred Klatz & Laveryne Gray - OSU Master Gardeners
Spring pruning improves the health of roses and increases bloom during the summer. Proper pruning provides better air circulation and helps to prevent disease.
You will learn: What canes to prune, how to recognize diseased canes, how short to cut canes, and much more. Summer rose care, mulching and fertilizing will also be discussed. Wear long pants, a jacket, and sturdy shoes. You do not need to bring pruning equipment.
