Marion Co. Master Gardeners - Public events
During this training we will cover easy, fun research-based activities that students complete within Junior Master Gardeners and youth garden programs. This course is designed for teachers, garden coordinators, volunteers and teens 15+ interested in sharing their love for healthy living, vegetables, and kids! Tips and tricks will be shared on how to best manage a classroom and build trust with youth of all ages. We will be sharing a variety of hands-on lessons appropriate for grades K-8.
There will be a 30 minute break around noon. Please bring a sack lunch if you wish.
