Training for SWS
Welcome! Thank you for taking time to sign up for Severe Weather Training.
Each year, Multnomah County experiences significant inclement weather referred to as Severe Weather. These weather conditions increase the risk factors for people sleeping unsheltered, posing an immediate danger to the life and health of unsheltered people, especially those living with medical or mental health conditions that may make them more vulnerable in extreme weather. With help from you we hope to make an impact for those sleeping unsheltered.
Below you will see several dates listed for our severe weather orientation. The trainings are about an hour long, and we have built in time for questions and paperwork.
We have multiple locations to choose from. Please make sure to note the location in which your class will take place.
If you have any questions about the training or the locations of the trainings please contact Gabriel Court at [email protected]
Again, we thank you for your interest in helping us and the people of Multnomah County!
