5th Grade Game Night
Hi 5th Grade Parents,
We cannot believe that the school year is more than half over and our 5th graders are on their way to Junior High. The 5th Grade Games night is the first event that begins their kick-off to finishing 5th grade and moving on! For those who are not familiar, 5th grade games is a district-wide event where the future 6th graders from all district schools come together for a night of games, fun, and getting to know each other! For this event to be successful we need a ton of help from both Moms and Dads! We will provide more information and volunteer instructions as the event gets closer, but here is a description of the volunteer needs.
When: Friday, April 5th
Time 5:30-9:00 pm
Set-up: Come in early to help set-up tables and decorate the cafeteria.
Check-In: Check-in all Central Kids when they arrive.
Photographer: You will be in charge of taking pictures of the event and then getting them to the Yearbook committee and sharing them with the other District 96 schools.
Team Leader: Paired up with another parent and be in charge of 11-12 kids throughout the night, making sure they get to their next station and have fun along the way!
Scavenger Hunt Monitor: You will be at a designated location for the scavenger hunt to provide clues and will also serve as a hall monitor.
Dodgeball Game: Run and supervise the dodgeball games throughout the evening.
Team Leader Check-In: Hand out information binders to team leaders as they arrive and give them instructions for their team duties.
Check-Out: You will check out Central Kids to their parent when they leave.
