"Waking Up White": An opportunity to explore issues of race and racism in difficult times.
In this five-week study, we will read and discuss the book Waking Up White by Debby Irving as we also explore and understand our own racial identities and stories. Our conversations will be guided by Dr Judy Guion-Utsler, chaplain at Otterbein University. We will meet on Zoom on Tuesdays from 6:30 - 8p.m. June 16, 23, 30, July 7 and 14. The Zoom information will be sent to you via email the day before the first session. You will need to provide your own copy of the book by the second session (Try Amazon.com for an EBook or Bookshop.org for a paperback copy)
So glad you can join us for this important conversation! If you have any questions, please contact Karen at [email protected] .
