Carrying Hope is holding its Third Annual Fostering Love Gala on Thursday, February 20th, 2020, that will directly impact and brighten the lives of those who need it most - children being removed from their homes and placed in the foster care system. This heartfelt night will include catering by Royal Fig, drinks from Treaty Oak Distilling, live music from More Cowbell and a guest speaker who can directly relate to our mission: Eddie Garcia, co-host of the Bobby Bones show and a current foster dad! This night will also feature fabulous live and silent auction items and packages. Together, we can ensure that no child in Central Texas arrives to their new foster home empty handed.
We are looking for volunteers to help make this evening a success by helping to set up/clean up, taking credit card information, helping to spot bids during the live auction, helping to oversee the silent auction and other duties that go along with it. Dinner will be served for all our wonderful volunteers! Please read below for descriptions of various volunteer jobs:
Set Up: Volunteers will arrive at 5:30 and help with placing of the programs, cookies, signage, and other duties that will get Brazos Hall ready for the event!
Check In/Credit Card Takers: Volunteers will need to arrive promptly at 5:30pm and will handle guest check-in, swiping credit cards, updating the system with purchases as needed and escorting guests to tables.
Heads or Tails: These volunteers will need to arrive by 6pm and sell costume jewelry to guests for our special Heads or Tails portion of the evening.
Yeti Sales: Volunteers will arrive at 6pm and sell our special Carrying Hope Yeti cups.
Bid Spotters: Volunteers will need to arrive by 6pm and help spot bids during the live auction, write down bid numbers and assist our auctioneer Andrew with anything he needs.

*Dress code for volunteers is either cocktail attire or slacks and a nice shirt.
