Chapter Fundraiser

Lead the development and implementation of chapter's fundraising strategy. Responsibilities include: organize fundraising events, reach out to potential and current donors, help develop marketing campaigns, etc. Estimated time commitment: 4-8 hrs/month

Membership Committee Help

Volunteer to join membership committee from December 2021-January 2023. Help replying email inquiries about membership and to reach out to current members to remind them of renewal dates. Estimated time commitment 1-2 hrs/month.

 

NOMAaz Award Task Force Help

Volunteer to join award task force from January-December 2022 to start planning for future NOMAaz awards. Estimated time commitment 6hrs/month.

Project Tours Coordinator

Identify, schedule and coordinate project tours. Work with Executive Board to confirm dates and send invitation to chapter. Estimated time commitment: 8-16 hrs/month, sporadic throughout the year.

Say It Loud! Chair

Main point of contact to coordinate with national on Say It Loud! Arizona. Report to NOMAarizona board for needs and budget. Project Manager of the overall project. Estimated time commitment 16-48 hrs/month

 

Say It Loud! Sponsorship and Fundraising Director

Establish sponsorship ties and secure funding for SIL. Coordinate with SIL chair and chapter leadership. Estimated time commitment: 16-24 hrs/month

 

Scholarship Selection Committee (4)

Volunteers will review submitted scholarship applications, recommendation letters and essays from students, discuss the merits and rank them as a group. Estimated time commitment: 8 hrs between 05/15/22 to 07/01/22

Project Pipeline - Curriculum Development (4)

Develop curriculum for summer camp and determine supplies needed. Volunteers will work with ASU educators.. Est. time Jan-Feb 2022: 3hrs/month, March-April: 6hrs/month

No design background required. Volunteers to reach out to local organizations/schools to invite students to camp. Design flyer for marketing of camp and t-shirt for camp students. Estimated time commitment: 3hrs/month January-July 2022

Marketing background or experience preferred. Volunteer to reach out to organizations and companies for sponsor opportunities for the camp. Estimated time commitment: 3hrs/month January-July 2022

Build Us Hope - Permitting Process

Volunteer to assist project PM on the permitting process for Build Us Hope to build affordable low income housing. Prototype has been developed and sent to city with comments received. Estimated time commitment 16-24 hrs between January and February.
