OVERNIGHT VOLUNTEERS

GMIC Middletown Warming Station: Help the Homeless.  Welcome to our 12th year of Helping the Homeless in the Greater Middletown area. Our season will begin on Sunday, November 17, 2019 and our last open night will be April 2, 2020.We have  another Volunteer Training date scheduled. It is December 11th. All training will be at St. Paul's United Methodist Church at 7:00 PM and we ask that you use the Mulberry St. entrance. At this time we are also collecting donations of men's boxers, men's undershirts, large cans of coffee, powdered non-dairy coffee creamer and sugar packets. In addition, we welcome, coffee cups, paper dinner plates and napkins. All donations can be dropped at St. Paul's UMC in the office M, W and Friday 8AM to 1 PM or Tues & Thurs. from 11AM to 4 PM. Monetary donations are always appreciated also-checks should be made out to GMIC. Please review the available slots below and click on the button to volunteer. We would not be able to do this without you as we must have 2 volunteers in order to open every night. Oue doors are open for guests from 9PM to 9:30 PM and we are able to "house" up to 30 adults, aged 18 & older. Questions?
