DUMC Worship

Great Day of Service

Dunwoody United Methodist Church's Great Day of Service is a family-friendly event that organizes 600 volunteers in 18 different service projects.  Most projects are onsite at Dunwoody UMC, and some are within the surrounding community.  This year, we have worked diligently to ensure that appropriate protocols and social distancing are in place for the safety of all volunteers.  We ask that volunteers please wear masks for all projects.  There is a place for YOU at Great Day of Service.  Together we have the opportunity to truly make a difference!  Please contact [email protected] with any questions.

Additional notes:  There will be no breakfast or nursery service this year due to COVID limitations.  Popular projects will fill up very fast.  If you claim a volunteer spot but your availability changes, please edit your reservation to make the opportunity available to another volunteer.  If your favorite project is full, please keep checking back for edits to the registration list.  If you are bringing additional family members, it is helpful if you register each family member (regardless of age) rather than just making "notes."  This will ensure we have the correct number of volunteers at each project.  Each project will email you specific directions regarding any materials or travel needed.
