Troop 314’s annual ski trip to Wintergreen Resort in Virginia departs Friday evening, January 11th at 5:30 pm from the Scout shed. We plan to return in the early afternoon (targeting 1:00pm) on Sunday, January 13th.
- The cost of this trip is $125 per person skiing. This covers the lift ticket, ski or snowboard rental (choose one), mandatory helmet, transportation, lodging and an orientation/lesson. Also included is a group Pizza dinner on Saturday evening, a quick Saturday breakfast (bagels with fixings) and a special Sunday breakfast (the Scoutmasters are cooking!)
- Scouts that earned Troop credit ($65) for working at the Christmas Tree sale can have that credit applied to the amount due.
- Scouts should bring spending money to cover Friday evening meals on the way up from Raleigh as well as lunch on the slopes on Saturday.
- We are not bringing the Troop trailer, so space will be very limited. Please pack the bare minimum: sleeping bag, pad, toiletry kit, snacks. We will not have a lot of space on this trip.
In addition to the Troop 314 permission slip (attached), Wintergreen also requires their own waiver for ALL participants. That can be found here:
