*Invited Dress Rehearsal: Saturday afternoon 12/8
*Two Public Performances: Sunday, Dec. 9 (exact times TBA)
ABOUT THE AUDITIONS: Class Act auditions are structured somewhat like a typical class: we'll play some warm-up games, and everyone will have the opportunity to perform a song of their choice (details below).
The audition is a fun, low-pressure experience, and we encourage all interested students to attend.
In addition to singing/acting/movement skills, the directors will be looking for students with strong potential and the ability to listen and follow directions.
PLEASE PREPARE a short section (about one minute) of a song from any musical (Broadway, movie, or previous Class Act productions). Choose a song that shows off your voice and personality! Bring an accompaniment track on a phone/device or sheet music (accompanist provided). Email us if you have questions about this.
The class lists will be emailed by August 28. Specific roles in the production will be assigned once classes begin in September.
(Note that we may not have a spot to offer every child who auditions. For those who are not quite ready for this program, we will extend the early bird discount and guarantee a spot in our other class options.)
Please print this AUDITION FORM to bring on 8/26 (or email it in advance). Be sure to list any conflicts.
If you have questions or are unable to attend on August 26, email [email protected]
