THANK YOU for volunteering for the Morse Field Day!! This day isn't possible without dedicated volunteers like yourself. Please look over the following options and sign up for a station that you would like to work out. Each station is pretty easy, and the biggest thing is making sure the kids are having a blast. Please if you have any questions do not hesitate to reach out to me!!

3-5 Hula-Hoop Ring Toss (3)

Each student will get 4 tosses to see how many points they can score. There will be 4 cones set out, all at different distances and with different point values. Students will try and earn as many points as possible by tossing a hula-h

3-5 Sponge Pass (3)

Each team lines up with a bucket full of water and sponges placed at the front of the line and a second empty bucket at the other end. The team passes wet sponges over their heads to the end of the line where the last person squeezes the spo

3-5 Everybodys It (3)

When the game starts, anyone can tag anyone. If you get tagged you must sit down. If people tag each other at the same time, they must shake hands and run away. You can not tag someone after you just shook their hand! You are never safe, and anyone can ta

 

3-5 Hula-Hoop Teamwork (3)

This can be used as a great teambuilding activity — or with two teams competing. Explain that the hula hoop must not touch the ground, nor can the circle of hands be broken. The person on one end of the line then places a hula hoop on a teammate’s shoulde

3-5 Partner Tennis Toss (3)

Students partner up and stand at the starting mark facing each other. The students will toss the ball to their partner, if the ball is caught, ONLY the partner who caught the ball will take 1 step back. This game continues until both partners have caught

 

3-5 50 Yard Dash (3)

Two at a time students will race down and run around an orange cone and make their way back to where they started. Students can choose who they want to race, or they can be paired up by their teacher. If students do not want to race, then they do not have

 

3-5 Football Throw (3)

Students will get 3 chances to throw a football as far and as straight as possible.

 

3-5 Potato Sack Races (3)

6 students at a time race down and back hoping up and down in a potato sack.

 

3-5 Shoe Toss (3)

Partners will compete against one another to see who can toss their shoe the furthest only using his or her foot.

 

3-5 Beachball Keep up (3)

Students will get in groups of 3 or 4 and try and keep the volleyball up in the air using techniques learned in gym class. They will see how many times they can bump and set the ball trying to get the highest number possible.

K-2 Freeze Tag (3)

When the “it” people tags someone, he or she must freeze where they were tagged. Every time a child is tagged they become frozen. Make sure the boundaries are known to the students, they may try and go outside of them, and if they do they become frozen!

K-2 Noodle Sprint Relay (3)

4 teams will compete against one another sprinting down and back around a cone while carrying a pool noodle. The next student can't run until they have possession of the pool noodle.

Students spend the time at this station making a large school mural on the track. Each student gets a piece of sidewalk chalk and is free to draw what they please.

K-2 Football Throw (3)

See how far students can throw a football. Each student gets 3 attempts to throw and football. Mark furthest throw with a poly cone.
