The STEAM Connection
We are offering two class dates: 1/18/20 from 3:30 to 5:30 PM or 1/25/20 from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. The classes are at InVanse Technologies at The STEAM Connection Workshop. --Both class dates are on this signup--
This session is intended for K-4 grade students who are interested in engineering. Design your own simple circuits with alligator clips, connectors, fans, breadboard, LEDs, and more! We will be learning about different electrical components, circuit safety, and much more! Not only that but kids will walk away with their own small copper coil spider robot. We will also be doing a soldering demonstration and learning about different types of engineering careers.
This is taught by the award-winning 19-year-old STEAM entrepreneur, author, inventor, and educator Danielle Boyer. Danielle is currently double-majoring in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, so she LOVES teaching this subject the most. It is also taught by FIRST Robotics Competition Team 4384 President Dakshesh Daruri, an aspiring Electrical Engineer who just got accepted into the University of Michigan for Engineering and The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for Electrical Engineering.
This session costs $65 dollars due to material costs. The revenue from this class is going to send robots to kids for free, especially in Indigenous communities. For this reason, we cannot issue refunds. Payment is due before the session begins. PayPal works best at 248-840-6918. We also accept checks. Please let us know if you need any assistance.
Every single class that we offer independently is always free to American Indian, Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, First Nation and other indigenous peoples of North America.
