We are so excited to host families with Family Promise of Cobb County once again!
TKE is proud to support Family Promise of Cobb County, an affiliate of Family Promise (national) founded in 1986 to serve families in transition. The Family Promise Network brings shelter, meals and support services to families with children who are without homes.
"Transforming the lives of homeless families. Because every child deserves a home."
Temple Kol Emeth, together with 14 other congregations in Cobb County, is committed to providing the safe space these families need as they transition towards more permanent housing.
Sunday, March 3 through Sunday, March 10 is approaching fast. This is the week TKE will host these families at the Doc Lebow Center. To be successful, we need your help as volunteers! You will find many volunteer opportunities listed below, including the highly encouraged orientation. Needs also include donated non-perishable food and beverages for breakfast and lunch. If you don't have time to shop, let us do it for you! Gift cards to purchase these items are also very much appreciated.
We look forward to working with you to help these families within our community who need our help!
