Woodland Community Church - Student Mininstry
Our Project B-Town Middle School camp will be held at the church from June 14th - 18th.
With everything going on in the world today, we want to empower our students for a REVOLUTION. We want to equip them to be a change into their world! We are excited to share with them, what God wants for them in their lives and how they can make that impact, now!
Middle School Project B-Town camp is an amazing week full of games, service projects, and heartfelt worship! The camp takes place at the church, and are split up into “cabins”, by grade and gender. This is an amazing opportunity to grow closer to God throughout the whole week.
We are unable to make Project B-Town happen without our wonderful volunteers! This is a great opportunity to get to know other church members and parents of Students at Woodland, and enjoy the energy and fun from our students!
Monday: 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. - We need volunteers to help us welcome our students on the first day of camp with registration and cabin assignments.
We also need volunteers to help prepare meals each day:
Tuesday – Friday Breakfast: 6:00 – 7:30 a.m. ( No breakfast Monday)
Saturday Breakfast from 7:00 - 9:00 a.m. - for cabin leaders only
Tuesday – Friday Lunch: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (No lunch on Monday or Saturday)
Monday – Thursday Dinner: 4:00 – 6:30 p.m.
Friday only (later dinner): 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. due to a group activity (Pizza Night)
We will also need volunteers on Saturday morning to help reset the church and worship center for Sunday services.
If you have any questions about volunteer opportunities, please contact our Middle School Pastor Sammy Duran ([email protected] or 941-753-8588) or contact me ([email protected] or 757-327-9348).
