"the time is always right to do what is right" ~ Dr. King
With the pandemic entering the second winter, food insecurity has worsened in Massachusetts. 1 in 6 people are experiencing hunger compared to 1 in 12 before COVID. Let's honor Dr. King's 93rd birthday in the spirit of service! Concord Carlisle Human Rights Council is inviting you to a food drive at Crosby's Market in Concord to collect non-perishable foods for Open Table on Monday, Jan. 17th, 2022.
How can I help?
- By dropping-off non-perishable foods at the CCHRC table by the entrance of Crosby's from noon to 4 pm
- By signing up for a slot below to staff the collection table
For COVID safety, each shift is limited to four people. Safety precautions will be practiced and mask wearing is strongly encouraged.
