Lesson Purpose: This lesson plan will provide the student with effective methods of training the adult learner in a high-stress environment and examine liability as it relates to the duties of the telecommunicator.
Training Objectives: At the end of this block of instruction, the participant will be able to achieve the following objectives in accordance with the information presented during the instructional period:
1. Identify key principles of training the adult learner and describe effective methods of motivating trainees.
2. Examine methods of training individuals in a high-stress environment.
3. Demonstrate the importance of evaluation and documentation as it applies to the duties of the telecommunicator.
4. Examine liability concerns which may be encountered in the communications center.
Hours/Credits: Four (4)
