ONLINE 2018 Officer Safety: Surviving Planned Attacks Against Law Enforcement Officers (LE)



Lesson Purpose: To provide law enforcement professionals with information and strategies to enhance officer safety both on and off duty.

Training Objectives: At the end of this block of instruction, the participant will be able to achieve the following objectives in accordance with the information presented during the instructional period:

           1. Define and discuss the term ambush.

           2. Review current trends related to officer attacks, fatal and nonfatal.

            3. Discuss the importance of situational awareness on and off duty.


Hours/Credits: Four (4)


Students will need to create a Moodle account at http://cecourses.pittcc.edu/

Requested courses will be added to the student's Moodle account within 2-3 business days.
