3/14/2019 - Report Writing for Law Enforcement (HY)

This 24 hour/credit HYBRID course was developed to provide students with an understanding of the fundamental principles of effective and professional reporting.  The class will meet for 8 hours on March 14, 2019 for lecture and classroom discussion; the remainder of the coursework will be completed online. The online portion will include lessons, videos, assignment submissions, and feedback from the instructor.  Course objectives include, but are not limited to: the importance of writing effective reports, the four (4) types of reports, steps involved in writing an effective and efficient narrative, and organizing information in a clear and concise manner.
