2. February Virtual Legal Night

Denver Legal Night is an open house where volunteer attorneys provide free legal and referral information to people who cannot afford legal services.  Since 2006, over 1,200 volunteer attorneys have helped more than 30,000 people in the Denver-metro area.  We cannot be successful without volunteers like you!

Due to the COVID 19 "Stafer at Home" orders currently in place in the state of Colorado, we have changed the format of Denver Legal Night for the forseeable future.  Clients will be calling Centro San Juan Diego to schedule a 45 minute appointment to speak to one of our volunteer attorneys on the telephone during our clinic time of 5pm-8pm. 

If someone needs an interpreter, we will have the interpreter conferenced into the client appointment by the volunteer lawyer.  If the cases coming in warrant more attorneys and/or interpreters, I will email the volunteer list asking for additional help.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT: If you CANNOT ATTEND your assigned shift, PLEASE NOTIFY ME ASAP!  We have to reschedule all of your clients to another clinic date if you have a last minute conflict and it also affects the availability of other volunteers you may be paired with. Please be respectful and DO NOT sign up if you cannot commit.

Please sign up below for the night(s) you can attend.  If you are an attorney, please select the appropriate area of law (only one).  If you are an interpreter, please sign up using the "Interpreters" slot.  

We will begin the calls at 5pm with 45 minute intervals in between each slot until 8pm.

Location

You will be taking clients via your cell phone or home phone.
