Arizona Disabled Sports Presents:
Arizona Disabled Sports (AzDS), is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing sports and recreation opportunities for individuals with all types of disability. The sports programs for individuals with physical disabilities are designed for athletes ages 6 through adulthood who have an orthopedic, neurological or sensory impairment. This can include but is not limited to cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, spina bifida, amputation, traumatic brain injury, and visual impairment.
Arizona Disabled Sports Winter/Spring season has various programs that are offered. Below you will find some opportunities for everyone to take part in. We prefer volunteers to be 16 years or older, but individuals can be younger if an adult is present with them at all times.
Volunteers are not required to sign up for the entire season. You can just volunteer for one session, if desired – although we do love our regulars!
Please contact Volunteer Coordinator/Program Supervisor, Taylor Wilson, at [email protected] for additional information.
Scroll down for TRACK, FIELD, ARCHERY, and SWIMMING volunteer opportunities.
***All volunteers are required to complete the liability waiver prior to participation with an Arizona Disabled Sports program/event. The liability waiver is valid for one year from time of signing. If a volunteer is a minor, a parent/guardian will have to sign off on the waiver prior to volunteer shift.
